African Media Association Malta organized on March 5 a Political Right Conference of the initiative "Turning The Tables". To vote or not to vote? A migrant perspective. It was done in partnership with the Intercultural and Anti Racism Unit.
Participant felt that Maltese laws under Article 10 of the citizenship act lays down naturalization eligibility for any applicant.
It was concluded that political education is the path forward for all and the duty of the government to implement.
Participants also felt that the law is very fossilized and hasn't grown with the needs of a multicultural society.
