Turning Dreams into Reality : the triumph from cleaning to owning a shop

Gloria Otuaga is a young Nigerian woman who has been living in Malta for several years. She started out working as a room maid and courageously doing other humble jobs, such as cleaner, in order to feed her family before realising her dream and opening her own shop.

In this interview, she tells us about the difficulties she went through to open her business. Like opening a dedicated bank account, dealing with the paperwork and so on.

Away from her family, she is now the manager and owner of the Gloria Land shop in Hamrun, which specialises in African food and products.
