On December 2nd, an engaging online event will inform on the potential of digital literacy within the circular economy.
As part of the "Inclusion and Digital Empowerment through Circular Economy" project, this event will offer interactive discussions led by key voices from the communities it aims to uplift: migrants and ethnic minority groups.
Over the past two years, five dedicated NGOs from Malta, Spain, Cyprus, Portugal and Italy have collaborated to create two comprehensive online training courses: one focused on Digital Skills and the other on Active Online Job Search. These courses have already empowered over 50 migrant youth, who received second-hand laptops to support their digital journeys.
Another important output of the project is a Guide of Best Practices that compiles 50 of some of the best examples of Digital empowerment through Circular economy that have brought a positive change in the lives of millions of youth from disadvantaged backgrounds in different parts of the planet.
All the outputs are available in six languages: English, Spanish, Greek, Portuguese, Italian and Arabic.
During this event, you will hear from the project’s beneficiaries, learn about their achievements, and discover how they can inspire others to embrace digital empowerment.

About the project
The INCLUDE-CE project aims to promote the social and labour inclusion of migrants and refugees by improving digital literacy, fostering skill development, and providing access to essential resources. The main objectives of the project are to enhance digital literacy among the migrant population, to develop and provide access to a tool that combines training and job search resources tailored to the target population, to increase the availability of technological equipment for migrants and refugees to improve their skills and conduct comprehensive job searches, to promote e-inclusion as a fundamental aspect of modern citizenship for migrants and refugees, and to facilitate integration into the labour market as a key step towards achieving full social integration. This project is co- financed by the European Union.
