"The site cannot be reached" generic message appears on the search engine.

According to reports, the widespread outage touched the five continents.

Twitter was used both by WhatsApp and Facebook to acknowledge the issues.

Andy Stone, The communication manager of facebook wrote that they are aware that some people are having trouble accessing their apps and products. He added that they are working to get things back to normal.
