“Our goal is to facilitate communication between individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds and local institutions, ensuring accessibility, inclusion, and understanding”. That’s the idea of No Barriers Malta, cultural mediation and interpretation services. This co-operative, made and led by migrants, includes 6 passionate and qualified people who represent various NGOs.
What is the offer? They offer 4 services:
Cultural Mediation: trained cultural mediators are available
Interpretation Services: onsite, over-the-phone, and video interpretation
Translation Services: professional document translation
Training & Capacity Building: cultural awareness training
The newly formed Cooperative wants to create a cultural bridge between Maltese and Non-Maltese. Cultural mediation is actively needed in Malta, as it will allow an understanding of the cultural differences but also to reduce misunderstanding between people.
All services offered by NO Barriers Malta are much needed for the benefits of everybody. It promotes inclusion and better understanding of collective rights and obligations for a positive social impact. The team behind No Barriers Malta can provide their support and offer their services to government entities, NGOs, businesses, and others.
